I’ve attended a lunch this afternoon at Rice Table @ International Building. This was meant to be a treat by my Head as he was leaving soon and he just wanted to show appreciation for the hardwork that we’ve put in. At the end of the meal, he specially thank me (since I was leaving too). Personally, I was quite touched cause I really felt appreciated. Anyway, I’ll be having another 2 more farewell lunch and I’m determined to put them into words here as I thought they are really meant mentioning.

In the meantime, the packing continue and now then I realise that moving office is equally bad as moving house. There is so much to pack, throw and shred. For the past 3 days, I’ve only managed to clear the papers on my table, I’ve still got the cabinet to go. 4 years ago, when I was transferred to where I was, it was just a simple job, carry the stuff on my hand and off I go. Now, I’ve got to pack my stuff into boxes and move it with me. There are simply too much stuff.

Anyway, tomorrow is the last day, 7 years in the division, 4 years in the department, I don’t know if I’ll be able to hold back my tears (I’m a very emo person), afterall, this is the place where I got to know my wife and started my family. There are many happy memories, memorable times and of course sense of accomplishment.
